“ALTIS”, the central shrine of the Olympic temple, is the name giver and simultaneously the synonym for the Sports Medicine Center at the Humanomed Center Althofen.

The goal of this interdisciplinary team of internationally renowned surgeons, experienced sports medical specialists, sports experts and physiotherapists is to offer sports medicine at the highest level. At our center elite professional athletes as well as hobby/non-professional athletes have the opportunity to be treated by a team of specialists and if necessary to be operated on in cases of shoulder, hip or knee injuries.

Above and beyond this, our sports medicine department provides training programmes, analysis and optimization plans as part of its central service offerings.
