Center for Spinal and Neurosurgery
The Center for Spinal and Neurosurgery offers the entire spectrum of modern therapeutical processes for the spinal column. An area of emphasis is placed on gentle spinal puncture surgery using localized anesthesia which reduces and prevents the necessity of a more invasive operation. If this type of minimally invasive surgery does not provide promising results, then state-of-the-art endoscopic (keyhole surgery) and microsurgical operation techniques will be utilized.
The service spectrum of the Center for Spinal and Neurosurgery covers the following:
- Ambulant and stationary interventional pain therapy
- Percutaneous (minimally invasive) spinal column surgery
- Ozone chemonucleolysis for cases of herniated / slipped disks
- Endoscopic intervertebral disk operations and laser surgeries
- Microscopic operations of the vertebral canal constrictions
- Implantation of intervertebral disk prosthesis
- Stabilization of the spondylolisthesis (anterior displacement of the vertebrae)
- Injection of bone cement in cases of osteoporosis
- Surgery of the peripheral nerves (e.g. carpal tunnel syndrome)
- Trigeminal neurological treatment
