In order to meet the multi-faceted diagnostic requirements of all our clinical specialties, our Department for Imaging Diagnostics has been equipped with state-of-the-art technology for many years.

 
Our technological highlights include:

1. The first 3Tesla and with this device, the strongest magnetic resonance tomography in Carinthia.

2. The first 64-slice computerized tomography in Carinthia

3. A digital X-ray with mammography

4. Digital image transmission in all Carinthian hospitals and MR-Institutions.

The following examinations are possible:

• MR: all body regions including MR-angiography and MR-mammography
• CT: all body functions including CT-angiography and heart vessels
• CT-targeted pain therapy
• Virtual endoscopy (CT-colonoscopy)
• Biopsy and drainage
• X-ray: all pictures and scans in digital technology
• Mammography: digital mammography with ultrasound
• DEXA: bone thickness measurement
