Humanomed Group: Focused on Quality and the Environment
For many years, the Humanomed Group has stood for the highest standards in healthcare.
Since 2006, Humanomed Consult—the Group’s management company—has been certified according to ISO 9001. Because quality, transparency, and patient safety have always been our top priorities, the following institutions were also successfully certified under ISO 9001 in the subsequent years: Humanomed Center Althofen (2013), Privatklinik Villach (2015), Privatklinik Maria Hilf in Klagenfurt (2016), and BLEIB BERG FX Mayr Retreat (2021).
With a clear commitment to environmental protection and sustainability, we have underscored our dedication since December 2024 through certification in environmental management according to ISO 14001—an important milestone for the entire Humanomed Group. This internationally recognized environmental management system ensures that ecological aspects are considered across all areas of the company and that environmental impacts are systematically reduced.
“As a healthcare provider, we bear a dual responsibility—for the health of people and the health of our environment. With the ISO 14001 certification, we commit ourselves to a conscious and resource-efficient use of energy and materials,” emphasizes Mag. Ulrike Koscher-Preiss, Managing Director at Humanomed.
By embedding environmental management into our operational processes, we aim not only to meet legal environmental requirements but also to achieve long-term, measurable improvements—for example, through energy savings, waste reduction, mindful procurement, and environmentally friendly mobility concepts.
The Humanomed Group also adheres to the highest standards in the field of digitalization: Humanomed IT Solutions, responsible for the development and maintenance of IT and hospital information systems, is certified according to ISO/IEC 27001 for information security management and ISO 13485 for quality management in the field of medical software. These certifications ensure that data protection, data security, and the high regulatory requirements for medical devices are consistently met and continuously improved.
We understand quality not merely as a medical standard but as a lived commitment—to people, organizations, the environment, and information.
